I wish you a wonderful Holiday and a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

Thanks for staying with me and continuing to support independent music,
it makes a huge difference! I also want to thank you for the small notes and encouragements
I get, the CD:s sold,the audience coming out to listen, and the generosity when I'm on tour.

2009 has been a year filled to the brim.
Hard work, great fun, exciting new collaborations and things leading forward.

I was in Nashville in June, recording my new album with the great great producer and
musician Will Kimbrough. It was such a pleasure working with him and the great musicians
he put together for the CD, a musical whirlwind that I did not want to get out of.

This album has been named FIREFLIES, after one of the songs, and also after the
magical twilights by the Eastwood Studios in Nashville where the glimmer and glitter of the fireflies
amazed me and enhanced the recordings..I'm sure!

Right now I am waiting for this fantastic album, "alternative country India with a scandinavian twist"
to come home after being pressed and printed. The release is set (for Scandinavia) to February 3rd 2010,
as it looks now.

I can't wait for you to hear it!

It has some wonderful duet's too, with David Olney, and Will Kimbrough, and Swedish star Peter LeMarc.

One of the songs, "STOP", is already on rotation on the Swedish national radio, yeeeeeyyyy!

As for 2009.......

I did some wonderful touring in Norway in October, supported by the Halden AllStars, great fun! and
in Germany/NL in November, partly with great singer- songwriter Markus Rill. I had a cold the whole time...but it worked out... A video is up HERE!

My SMF Living Room shows this year has worked really well, in Visby, Stockholm and Vallingby, with artistslike Tom Kimmel (USA), Sally Barris (USA), Will Kimbrough (USA), Buddy Mondlock (USA), Amber Rubarth (USA), Theresa Andersson (USA) , Simon Lynge (USA/DK),Michael Friedman (CAN), and many more sharing their songs and themselves.

The Sweden Singer Songwriter Festival 2009 was also a big success, much due to the wonderful artists
coming. We had a great line-up with Theresa Andersson, Buford Pope, ABA and Amber Rubarth amongst
others.

For all you songwriters I'd like to recommend the Listening Room International Songwriters Retreats
in general, and specifically the Gotland Retreat, put on MAY 9-16 2010.
We've had some wonderful songwriters participating during the 6 years we've been going, like
Tom Kimmel,Buddy Mondlock, Mikael Rickfors, Henning Kvitnes, Dana Cooper, Rex Foster.
